Abstract Prairie Wholecar – Train Mural

In 2019, Nick Abstract and two of his closest friends painted this "wholecar" train mural, an uncommissioned artwork inspired by the vast, flat prairies of central Canada. Drawing from the landscapes of Alberta and Saskatchewan, the piece uses abstract forms and colors to evoke the essence of the region without direct representation. This dynamic mural has been rolling steadily across North America since its creation, bringing a touch of the Canadian prairies to countless communities along its journey.
