Carmel Arch-Integration

Carmel Mural Concept – Architectural Integration
Carmel, Indiana

This conceptual mural was designed for a site in Carmel, Indiana, and explores the dialogue between surface and structure. Minimalist in execution but expansive in intent, the artwork uses spatial geometry to reflect and accentuate the architecture—specifically engaging with the glassless window cutout that connects to the elevated walkway above.

Nick Abstract’s signature visual language plays with perspective here, drawing the eye through the composition and into the building’s own forms. Rather than overpowering the space, the design frames and elevates the site’s unique structural features—creating a mural that feels seamlessly embedded within the environment.

While not yet realized, the concept showcases Nick’s approach to working with architecture, not just on it—an idea especially suited for civic, cultural, or mixed-use developments looking to activate their façades in a way that feels both bold and considered.
