3 Custom T-Shirt Designs for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway

In collaboration with Legends Global Merchandise and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Nick Abstract was commissioned to create three original T-shirt designs celebrating the culture, speed, and spirit of IMS.

Each design channels a different part of Nick’s creative approach—from sharp graphic layouts to expressive graffiti lettering—bringing a contemporary edge to the Speedway’s official apparel line. One standout piece features full-color front and back prints with clean white racing stripes across the shoulders, merging motorsport aesthetics with Nick’s lifelong connection to graffiti and street culture.

Released ahead of the 2025 Indy 500, all three shirts were made available at every major race shop on-site, as well as through the IMS online store. The collaboration offered Nick a chance to blend two of his core passions—racing and design—into work that lives at the intersection of fandom and identity.
