2019 - Putnam County Mural Design Proposal
This is Nick’s submission for the Putnam County Silo Mural initiative. Below is the Design rationale.
“Early farmers in Putnam County had one of the first railroads of the state passing through Putnam County in 1852 to ship their grain and harvested crops around the United States. Like most towns, the railroad was an important element of the county’s population boom. Farmers, and rail have been essential to most midwest towns and cities. This mural will pay homage to all the generations of farmers and railroad workers who keep Indiana farming a core part of our state, and county’s history.
