Graffiti-Inspired Mural for REN ART WLK

Commissioned for the REN ART WLK in Rensselaer, Indiana, this mural celebrates the convergence of traditional mural artistry and graffiti culture. Curated by Cameron Moberg of Camer1SF and Talking Walls Art, the project invited Nick Abstract to showcase his roots in graffiti art while exploring a dynamic blend of styles.

The mural features two photorealistic birds set against a vibrant, abstract background, incorporating Nick’s signature geometric elements. At the heart of the piece is his graffiti moniker, "Sean," rendered in bold lettering that honors his beginnings in graffiti as a starting point for his large-format artworks that later became his signature geometric style.

This project highlights Rensselaer's embrace of diverse artistic expressions and serves as a tribute to the transformative power of street art. Nick expresses gratitude to Cameron Moberg and Talking Walls Art for fostering a creative space that allowed him to merge his artistic styles and share his vision with the community.
