Mural Collaboration with DKGR and Garamong for Matchbook Learning’s 1401 Building on Indiana Avenue

This series of murals brings Nick Abstract’s signature geometric design style to the 1401 building, incorporating sharp angles, directional lines, and layered compositions that echo elements from the Matchbook brand. Each wall is designed to create a sense of motion and energy—symbolizing educational momentum while helping guide students, families, and staff toward key entry points.

Drawing on color cues and motif references from the Matchbook branding system, the abstract forms represent growth, transformation, and forward progress. Together, these murals help define the visual identity of the Indiana Avenue Matchbook corridor and complete a multi-phase transformation across the campus.
